A promotions manager could be an exciting field for someone if they love working in news, shooting video, creating graphics but yet they have NO desire to be on camera in any capacity, they want to have closer to normal hours than what news people have and they want to make more money that the average non-managerial news team member.

This is my old colleague, Jenny Dolph's personal YouTube page compiled of several stations worth of work. She is a promotions manger and has made a successful career out working in the promotions department at several news stations across the country. I had the pleasure of working with her early on in her career when we both worked for FOX 28 News in Elkhart. We both landed jobs at WNDU-TV and then later - I ended up getting her a job at ABC 57 News and then I ended up working for the station as well - but we weren't there together at the same time.

1. After looking through Jenny's YouTube page - linked above... and watching some of her online promotions videos .. you tell me how you would describe what Jenny does for a living just based upon watching the posted videos she created. 5 points

2. After watching a few videos copy and past the URL of a video you like that stands out to you personally (2.5) and DON'T FORGET to describe in detail why you like it. 5 points
